For whom did we create MoreThanMoney?
MoreThanMoney was inspired by all who have learned their money lessons the hard way – paying too much for or buying financial products they did not even need, or missing out on great investment returns because bank deposits were all they knew. It’s a pity they didn’t first talk to an independent expert or someone who has learned from experience…
It is to fill this gap that we created the MoreThanMoney forum where anyone can post a money question, or answer someone else’s question.
How does it differ from other money sites?
We want to challenge the idea that financial publications have to be dry, dull and for the money-minded. So, you won’t find any pictures of serious-looking people in suits or lengthy articles written in financial code language here. Only friendly, down-to-earth answers to your money questions.
What will it cost you?
All information is free. The quality of the information depends on visitors spending time to answer other visitors’ questions, though.
How do we make money?
We earn money from pay-per-click advertising and affiliate marketing. This means that every time you click on an ad, we receive a small amount from the advertiser. This is currently our only financial reward for running this website. However, no business can pay to change the content in our Blog or Tips area. Our opinions, reviews and referrals remain fiercely independent.
Where does the name come from?
While we want this site to be incredibly useful for anyone looking to save or make more money, we also hope to inspire you to use that money, as well as your common sense, will and imagination to realise as many of your dreams possible. Life, after all, really is about more than just money.
How do you find information on this site?
To search this site for a specific money topic, run your query from the Google Search box at the top of any MoreThanMoney page.
